Use V Exact for fully known hands, wildcards / constrained ranges, and partial-board situations. All card-removal and wildcard constraints are enforced on every trial. This mode answers: “What is the true showdown equity given everything we know?”
Use V Random to:
Requirements & assumptions:
In other words: each hand is tested independently vs a random field, not against the other entered hands. This makes V Random best for range-vs-range and multi-hand exploration.
Single-Board mode simulates only Board A. Board B is ignored in the simulation, its stats are hidden, and the Board B header shows “n/a” when empty. Saved scenarios remember whether Single-Board mode was on or off. Use this when studying regular single-board PLO.
You can use wildcards to describe partial hands in V Exact:
Wildcards obey card-removal rules, interact with other players’ cards, and are enforced every trial. Empty slots are shown as Xx. Wildcards are not permitted in V Random.
Choose a trial count (10k–20k recommended for everyday work), then tap Run. You can cancel at any time to stop early.
Winner fields show the most frequent showdown class, not abstract hand strength.
In Single-Board mode, Board B is ignored in sims, its columns are hidden, and its header shows “n/a” when empty. The Sort by equity toggle reorders the table by equity instead of seat number.
Saved scenarios include hands (with wildcards), boards A/B, card mode, view mode, board mode (single/double), and results. Autosave restores your last working state when you reopen the app.
